Osaka, books, anime slobs
January 24, 2008, 3:47 pmThis weekend we are heading for Osaka, and I don’t know what will or won’t happen, although I’m sure that whatever happens will have something to do with loud rock and roll, whiskey fueled early morning karaoke sessions that culminate in me screaming “Born To Run,” eating lots of gooey treats with chunks of octopus tentacle in them, fevered car rides home with terrible headaches and panicked thoughts on how to explain all the money I spend (how did I spend it?), good times with good friends that I’ll remember for as long as I live, good times with total strangers that I’ll remember for as long as I live, and maybe a good story or two for the old bloggy blog. I am getting to be an amazing fucking english teacher…

The more you teach, the more you learn, the more you understand, the more better your english teaching becomes. ah, shit it’s those damn Ozzies that jumped on the Japanese whaling boat and then said they were taken captive and mistreated and whatnot. They guy flips onto the boat and then gives a big grinning double thumbs up… “I’m on the boat, brah!
